Check out the MPS training calendar to register for any upcoming classes in October, November and/or December. Make sure your required classes have been fulfilled on time. Keep in mind, we will not be holding "make-up" EMR Updates after the end of the year so be sure to sign up and attend the classes that are listed on the training calendar!

If you still need to attend a Sexual Harassment Prevention class, please check out the HUB training calendar for a list of those hosted by DNR HRS. Make sure you report your attendance on this Google Sheet if you have attended a class hosted by anyone other than John Ohler or Bethany Watts.

The training division is now looking for employees interested in becoming instructors in any topics that are currently offered. Becoming an instructor means not only committing to becoming certified, but also committing to a few days of availability per year to assist with classes. Many of the classes that we offer require a set student to teacher ratio in order for students to receive certification. Simply put, the training division would not be able to facilitate the numerous classes for our MPS workforce without the support of instructors from the field. These dedicated instructors offer students the chance to gain more knowledge from teachers with a variety of experiences, and transfer essential job information to students. The importance of having a number of reliable instructors statewide cannot be understated. If you have a passion for a class that you've attended in the past, check with your supervisor then let your regional trainer know and we will work with you to obtain the proper certifications and training.
