Training Opportunities: Week of 8/15

 Things to Know:

OFFICE OF FAIR PRACTICES

TASTE OF DIVERSITY EVENT INFORMATION

I appreciate your interest in participating in the “Taste of Diversity” event. We are
seeking staff members to contribute a dish/food item that represents their culture. It
doesn’t have to be a large dish or costly. This is a small tasting event featuring
appetizer-sized plates for sampling and discussion to enhance learning about other
cultures, traditions, and customs. Each table will have signage describing the dish and
what makes it special to their culture.
If you plan to participate, please send the OFP a confirmation email, including the name
of the dish and a brief description (a paragraph or two) about its significance to your
culture. As we approach the event date, you will receive additional information,
including the drop-off location and table assignment.
