MPS Training Opportunities:

Pool Day - St. Mary's
Monday, November 2411:00am – 1:00pm
We are hoping to have some folks join us for our pool day at St. Mary's College on November 24th. This is simply an opportunity to be in the water and we welcome anyone to join us. There is no agenda here so you can tailor this to your desires. You can come to swim, hang out and gain comfort in the water, practice some skills like lifeguard rescues or basic water rescue, or learn new things!

Sarah Gray is a Water Safety Instructor, meaning she is qualified to teach swim lessons to any age, and we are both lifeguard instructors.

  1. Non-MPS Training Opportunitines:

Partners with the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Education Workgroup are excited to announce this year’s MWEE Practitioner Webinar Series. This series is meant for both non-formal and formal educators who are interested in bettering their practice around supporting Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs).

Join us for hour-long webinars to learn from fellow MWEE practitioners about topics such as engaging community partners, offering out-of-school time MWEEs, and incorporating environmental literacy into career and technical education.

One webinar is scheduled each month from December through March. Learn more about each webinar listed below and register HERE or at the links below.

All webinars will be recorded and added to the MWEE Practitioner Webinar Series playlist on YouTube (check out great ones from previous years!) but hopefully you can attend live to ask questions and join the conversation.
